Highlights
- Genshin Impact's upcoming Pyro Archon has an alter ego named Haborym, following a pattern from previous Archons like Venti and Raiden Ei.
- The Natlan region in update 5.0 will introduce Mavuika as the possible Pyro Archon, raising doubts about the God of War's true identity.
- Leaks suggest plotlines involving Mavuika, Xbalanque, and the mystery of Murata's absence as the previous Pyro Archon in Natlan.
A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed the Pyro Archon's alter ego, and like with the previous Archons, Natlan's god carries an alternate name based on a goetic entity. Several recent Genshin Impact leaks have hinted at Natlan's storyline and Mavuika's real role in the Archon Quest, but little information has yet to be confirmed.
According to Genshin Impact lore, all Teyvat Archons have two names in-game; their God name and an alternate persona they choose to go by within their nation. For example, Venti's real Archon name is Barbatos, while Raiden Ei's is Beelzebul. Similarly, Zhongli's alter ego is Morax, Nahida's is Buer, and Furina's is Focalors. What all these God names have in common is that they're based on the entities from the real-life Ars Goetia demonic book. Interestingly enough, Paimon is another prominent name taken from the book and used in the game. Now, a new Genshin Impact leak reveals that HoYoverse may repeat this goetic name formula with the upcoming Pyro Archon.

Genshin Impact Mural Leaks Hint at Natlan History
A Genshin Impact leak reveals details about important historical events tied to the upcoming Natlan region that will arrive with update 5.0.
Genshin Impactleakers Miruko and Team Mew have reported that the Pyro Archon's alter ego will be Haborym, which references the Ars Goetia character of the same name. This hints that the Pyro Archon is in fact active in the Nation of War and has an alter persona. Other previous Archons, like Egeria and Rukkhadevata, did not have goetic names, further implying that they were not current Archons. However, while it is highly speculated that Mavuika is Natlan's Pyro Archon, some Genshin Impact leaks about the next Archon Quest plotline raise doubts about the God of War's real identity.
Genshin Impact Leaks Pyro Archon's Alter Ego
Players may remember that Murata was the Pyro Archon during the Archon War, but the reason why Murata is no longer the nation's leader remains unknown. Instead, the new Genshin Impact characters Mavuika and Xbalanque appear to be the rulers of the region. Previous leaks hinted that Mavuika would be Xbalanque's apprentice and that the role of the Pyro Archon needed to be fulfilled during the Archon Quest. Of course, leaks are not official information, so players must take these rumors with a grain of salt.
HoYoverse is releasing Natlan in Version 5.0. Players can tune in to Genshin Impact's next special livestream and be the first to know everything the patch is bringing. Recently, Genshin Impact has confirmed that Version 5.0 is introducing several quality-of-life and difficulty updates, such as a World Level 9 increase and a new local specialty tracking feature for easy farming. Genshin Impact fans are excited about Natlan and the update cannot arrive soon enough.
